• THANK YOU! He 'didn't know'??? He supposedly had this ALL written from beginning to end- -but WHOOPS- lets forget about CONTINUITY and assume the audience has the attention span of dead womprats and just IGNORE the 'romantic triangle' that was established and insert ickiness! If there is any blame for ickiness, in retrospect, it belongs to Lucas. You don't start out a story one way, then ignore your plot dynamics because you came up with a 'cool' idea at the last minute. It was stupid then- its stupid now- and that is what ALTERNATE UNIVERSE fanfiction is for! I firmly believe that this bizarre, illogical, deviation tainted Jedi- and thus the Prequel films too. He started out making a modern myth and changed to whatever would be marketable long-term. The story drove the marketing-now the marketing drives the story. Sad- Lucas pimped his best idea, got in its way and deserves the blame.

• @JTtheConqueror Because that scene takes place in ROTJ, when Obi tells Luke Leia is his sister. Luke had just walked out of Yoda's hut where Yoda had just kicked the bucket.

• I heard the Lando voice as a swipe from Homestar Runner's Bubs, who is himself an imitation of Redd Foxx. It's not funny because he's black, it's funny because it's funny. Full marks for being concerned that your amusement might come at the expense of someone else's dignity. That's a habit worth keeping.

• Let me guess. When Gree-Morr grows up, he changes his name to Shrek.

• I think it's more the "black guy" voice they used than what he said exactly.

• I'm pretty sure a black guy behaving like a mental patient isn't automagically racist. I have never heard the stereotype "Black folks be always screaming non sequiturs about their capes and have incurable tourette's" on Showtime at the Apollo. Although if all racist ideologies were that awesome, I might consider racisting as a side job.

• It's late over here but: "Han ALWAYS shots first" was golden.

• If that's the case, then Lucas deserves all the scorn we can pile upon him for resorting to such a lame cop-out to hide the fact that he was incapable of handling complex interpersonal dynamics in his writing.

• Is this joke ever going to get old? Is that all Star Wars is going to be remembered for? Hell, Lucas didn't even know that Leia was Luke's sister until they started making Jedi. They did it so Leia didn't have to choose between the two.

• This was way too Family Guy for me but the lovable scoundrel part was hilarious.

• I cant tell if that portrayal of lando is hilarious or racist. But I definitely laughed at "many bothans died to bring me my sandwich".
