• I am really, really, really, really excited for Tron Legacy. But...this poster....i dunno. If i saw this poster, not having heard anything about the movie before hand, my first thought would be: This is a remake. but it's not. I think Disney is sending that message with this poster, and i'm no sure i like that.

• These variants, the new poster, and, hell, just about everything I see about this movie make me happy in a way that is probably not entirely healthy.

• agreed. Was a huge fan as a kid, cannot watch more than a few minutes now. But that's the problem with movies dependent on current technology. So, it needs an update, and here it comes... or here Rob cums...

• I'm a nerd to my deepest core, but Tron has long been a movie that I believe to be one of the most overrated pieces of geek-culture. The concept is cool, Bridges was good, but it was amazingly slow getting started and, overall, nothing more than below average. I tried re-watching it about a year ago - twice! It's just not good.

• Why is everyone so excited over this? How many times have we been let down by a sequel but keep crawling back to Hollywood?

• I admit I haven't been totally keeping up with the feeds for this, but this is pretty cool. Haven't made up my mind whether or not it's a good thing that they got rid of the bicycle helmets (programs with hair? really?), and the suit designs seem a lot more subdued.<br><br>I <b>am</b>, however, digging on the recognizer, solar sailer, and i/o (mcp?) tower designs. Very classy nod while being modern. Kudos so far to the mouse.

• I'm not convinced that Daft Punk can do Carlos justice. I mean, are they going to be Daft Punk being Daft Punk, or are they going to be Daft Punk doing a Tron score? So far I am very leery of this movie. I'm scared, so very scared.
