Lends a whole new meaning to Lily Von Schtupp's song in Blazing Saddles - I'm So Tired.

:) Looking forward to this one for ages. Also, think of the cross-over opportunities: Alien Vs Tyre, Human Centipede Vs Tyre etc...
-
I saw it in Sitges Festival, I found it boring after the first 5 minutes, the trailer is far more entertaining. Great idea for a short movie, but not well realized to long duration.
-
Amazing; I must see this
-
It comes from my country (France) and i'm so proud ! Nerdly your

Minimum Overdrive!
-
you forgot to mention that its a tire that BLOWS PEOPLE'S FREAKING HEADS OFF! XD
-
I saw this at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival in the summer.... not what I was expecting... which left me very disapointed. If it was just a movie about a killer tire, I would of loved it! But there is some bullshit play stuff added to make it artsy... Major let down. But I did see this at the festival which made me happy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfLXpObCznc MARLON BRANDO LIBRARY GAME!

I saw it too at the Philly Film Fest this year. Its pretty funny and definitely the most original movie I've seen in a bit. The sherriff is the best part. He's aware that he is in a movie and can't wait for it to be over. and Robert (the tire) was really good. He seemed like a real tire that could be psychic and kill things. But will he get an oscar nod? NO!!!
-
This movie is way more believable than the Happening. BAH-ZING!!
-
I bet its just a highway patrol cop nearing the last days of work when he gets killed and his spirit ends up in the tire. He solves his case and his spirit leaves the tire. The sequel will be even better because in it the cop will be retired.
-
interesting. a new horror film icon in the making killer tire.
-
It's real. I've seen it, actually. It's directed by Quentin Dupieux, who doubles as an awesome electro house producer/musician. Weird, but I laughed a lot. Pretentious, but in a really funny, self-aware way.
-
Anybody else notice that the release date is April Fools Day?
-
wondered about that myself.
-
A few of the scenes lead me to believe there is some great FFF material here. Maybe it could crossover with the last cars one. wait a minute.. OH MY GOD!!! HARVEY IS CURLED UP IN THE TIRE!!!!
-
One question. Why does a tyre have to turn around? ;)
-
It's real. I saw it at the Vancouver Intl Film Festival last year.. and it's as weird and hilarious as you would imagine. I loved it. It's directed by "Mr. Oizo", whose name you might recognize from the "Flat Eric" youtube videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kv6Ewqx3PMs

If this is real, and if the trailer is a decent representation of the movie (a couple of big ifs, I admit), then what percentage of a year's movie releases in the US would be less entertaining than this? For my taste, I think it's about 70 to 80%.
-
That was pretty well done.
-
****SPOILERS**** In the third act, the tire runs over a nail and has to be kept alive using Fix-A-Flat. Eventually it asks its friend and mentor, Michelin Goodyear, to put it out of its misery.
-
What. If that's a real movie, I'm totally going to see it.
