Hey, It’s Super Cartoon Smash Network Bros.
Cartoon Network is making a Super Smash Bros.-like fighting game called Punch Time Explosion, featuring its in-house properties, and I approve. I know CN was waiting nervously for my blessing, so I’m sure they’re relieved.
Now, the only footage out there are these individual character videos, so I picked Dexter because… well, Dexter. The other fighters include characters from the Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack(!), Chowder, Ben 10, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, and potentially more. Destructoid says that the gameplay will include both fighters and assist characters, so here’s hoping Johnny Bravo, Sym-Bionic Titan and Megas XLR at least show up there. And although this is clearly a game targeted at kids, given the gameplay and the fact it’s on the Nintendo 3DS and all, I pledge right now to purchase Punch Time Explosion if Ami and Yumi from Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi show up in any capacity.
