LOL, the opening ad for me before the clip played: "the following clip is brought to you by, 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon'"
(Sorry, my show title is better.) So. Is it just me, or is Jimmy Fallon getting kind of awesome, or what? Because the more clips I see of his show -- the segments like this, admittedly, not interviews, and definitely not the monologue -- hey seems pretty goddamned awesome. Although I am docking points for not having Panhro's two back-up dancers dressed up like Cheetara. (Via Super Punch)

Jimmy Fallon is only funny when there's a skit and props and expert writers behind the screen making a script so good that you can forget that Jimmy Fallon is on the stage. He's so dreadful otherwise. God such bad delivery. Don't know if he, Leno, or Lopez is my least favorite of the current late night hosts.
Well, I always thought that the music for Thundercats sounded like something you would hear in a Vegas lounge (it's the over-emphasis on the horn section). This just proves it. Fortunately it sounds like the new show will have a much more orchestral score. :)
Fallon's show has gone from generally likable to a fine and worthy successor to Late Night with Conan O'Brien. The comedy they're doing there is usually excellent, and Fallon's personality as someone who genuinely loves TV and movies and music and comedy makes him is such a refreshing change from the usual detached talk show host that it feels special. He was just on WTF with Marc Maron, and it was a fantastic episode.
No, Jimmy Fallon is not getting awesome. His writers are extremely awesome, but Jimmy Fallon is just the no-talent interchangeable head-gasket. And he sucked at every job he ever had before this one. He is the George W. Bush of comedy.
Sorry, the only talk show that I watch is Craig Ferguson's/Geoff Peterson's.. and also, fuck you hulu and your xenophobic access...
This makes me actually think a live-action Thundercats could be pulled off. Whether or not someone should actually do it is another story.
Let me say that I love that part when it said that the video could only be streamed in the US.
Fuck you Hulu --
Jimmy Fallon is great for this reason: they have no idea what they're doing, and they get to do it. It's like early Conan O' Brien, just trying weird comedy. I actually prefer Fallon to Conan now. And it's for way out there shit like "Let Us Play With Your Look..." and doing the Fresh Prince theme as Neil Young, for christsake. Wheel of Carpet Samples? Sure. Yes. Anything but the awkward "Hey! I'm playing a video game with a celebrity guest" segments. Never good on any show ever.
"Is it just me, or is Jimmy Fallon getting kind of awesome, or what?"
It's just you. For every ounce of awesome Fallon producers he also excretes ten tons of douche.
Would pay money for this show lol. I used to hate Jimmy Fallon, then I saw his Neil Young impression covering Willow Smith's song. I have never seen a better Neil Young impression...
The only thing better than that was Jimmy Fallon impersonating Neil Young covering Miley Cyrus's party in the USA. Improved the original 10 fold it did.
Dear Xenu : make this show a reality, and i will join foices with Travolta,Cruise and Will Smith to make Earth Planet Scientologia
I hate making comments like this, but I when I saw this on the show, all I could think was, "the woman on the right is ridiculously attractive."
Jimmy Fallon sucks.
Okay I know thats not very constructive but I can't fucking stand Jimmy Fallon I don't care who or what he has people dress up as.I stopped watching SNL when him and Tina Fey started doing weekend update because they were so fucking unfunny it hurt. At least Tina Fey eventually matured as a comedy writer.
this is the text of my comment. the first sentence makes you go WTF. the second sentence makes you LOL. by the last word you're already on the cell with your shrink. also let me add a veiled reference to bestiality, incest and/or Japanese sex toys.
Deconstructionism comes to TR.
Next: Issues of Freewill vs. Predestination in Wittgenstein and the works for Heinlein, Bendis and Kurosawa particularly in regards to the sequined panties worn by that red-headed tart to Pathro's right.
Our right. Sorry. The one who's totally committed to the bit from the second she walks out.
Jimmy Fallon won me over when he had Stephen Colbert and Taylor Hicks on with The Roots doing the most insane cover of Rebecca Black's Friday ever. EVER.
I am totally agree with you Jimmy Fallon is simply rock star and performance is out standing with Stephen Colbert and Taylor Hicks.
