Men may sometimes choose to wear men's skirts such as togas or kilts, especially on ceremonial occasions. Such garments were (in previous times) often worn as normal daily clothing by men. Compared to men's clothing, women's clothing tends to be more attractive, often intended to be looked at by men.

Jeans jacket or denim jacket, a jacket falling slightly below the waist, usually of denim, with buttoned band cuffs like a shirt and a waistband that can be adjusted by means of buttons. Also called Levi's jacket (see Levi's).
Pffft jacket. Tell me when I can by the bike or the ability to turn into a gigantic horrific mass of biological mayhem.
im pretty sure the bike in the pic is the model blown up in photoshop, nice. I have always wanted a red jacket with the pill on the back, but if i spent $900 on it id have to wear it every day. could I get away with it?? possibly not..
There's plenty of working versions of the bike out there, some officially made for cons, and some fan made, then there's also street legal versions which are a bit less accurate, so they probably just got there hands on one of the ones that make the rounds at the cons for the photoshoot.
Ooohhhhhhh prettyprettyprettyprettyPRETTYpretty bike... yeah the jackets cool too ;D
I already spent $700 on the jacket from Pattern Recognition, but now i feel like i should have waited.
One word:
EEEEEEEEEEEEEXPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!!
But might be worth it for some people. I don't judge. But more importantly, IS THAT A WORKING REPLICA OF KANEDA'S BIKE ON THE BACKGROUND?!! If that's true, then FUCK the jacket! Give me the bike instead! XD
Once again, my dream of a to-scale flesh-baby-Tetsuo costume fails to become a reality.
I only have one thing to say in the immortal words of Tetsuro:"KAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!'
TEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTSSSSSUUUUUUUUUUUUUUOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
"Good for health"
I'm pretty sure you'll get the shit kicked out of you if you try to wear it outside of a con.
At least it's expensive enough that if you buy one, you're sure no one else is going to be wearing one when you're out in public. Nothing's worse than having a sweet coat and crossing paths with someone else wearing the same exact thing.
Tis a thing of beauty, they should have sent a poet... with lots of money that is easily stealable.
Great, I can look like one of those fat, motorcycle-riding twins from the 70's (the McGuire twins?) all done up as Kaneda. I think I'll pass on this and everyone will be thankful.
Oh my God, I am in tears right now...this is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen..(goes to black market to hawk kidney)
So, uh, XXXL in Japan is what, M in America?
I kid. I'd love to wear it but I just seriously think they don't have a size meant for dudes who are six foot nine.
I remember seeing it a while ago in a magazine, but somebody did build a fully functional bike. However, I'm having trouble finding any info on the internets, besides a few scarce photos here and there, like this site: http://www.techeblog.com/index...
They can't. True to the 80's Kanadeardo's words, "it's too wild! [We] couldn't handle it!"
But it's also good for your health... On the other side besides the Price, it also not good for your education. That's a tuff choice, right there.
That is gorgeous. For God's sake Rob, nobody here will be able to afford this, you cock-tease!
Damn, I better get mine before Kanye "American Kaneda" West orders them all for his next video!
That said, I can't help but think it will just look like a fake Micheal Jackson "Thriller" jacket, unless you manage to get the motorcycle, too.
"Kanye 'American Kaneda' West" is the only way I will ever refer to that man ever again.
I don't think anyone will confuse this jacket with the Thriller jacket even if they've never heard of Akira *gong*
I think they well, because the King of Pop held sway over the term "the red leather jacket" even as Kaneda was being dubbed by Leonardo. Though if the jacket is mistaken for being a Thriller knock-off, here's hoping people assume the pill is a reference to how "This is It" actually turned out to be it.
