Dear Ridley Scott, This Is the Only Blade Runner Sequel We Need
I’ve gone on record as saying that I think Ridley Scott’s plan to make a Blade Runner sequel is a horrible idea.I have my reasons — mainly that Blade Runner stands alone, and that Scott’s cinematic track record over the last decade has hardly been perfect — but now I have a new one: Stargate Studios just made Xxit, an 11-minute Blade Runner fan video that is seriously the only Blade Runner sequel we ever need. It has the look, it has the story, it has… you know, just watch it. If you like Blade Runner, I’m pretty confident you’ll like Xxit. If you don’t like Blade Runner, then I don’t know what the fuck is wrong with you. (Via io9)
