December 3rd, 2011 -- the day Saturday Night Live finally discovered that Christian Bale Batman impressions can be funny. It's only a couple of years behind the zeitgeist, so that's pretty much right on time for SNL.
I kid, I kid. It's not like making fun of Christian Bale Batman ever goes out of style, as College Humor has proven over and over again. I wouldn't necessarily rank this as high as CH's best, but it certainly adds something to have Steve Buscemi playing Jim Gordon. Thanks to everyone who sent in the tip.
More links from around the web!
There is something just down right funny about Andy Samberg's mouth already, and then covering the top half of his face just makes it better.
This is strongly reminiscent of College Humor's "Batman Vanishing".

Which I don't think Rob ever covered, though it is from 09.
This is the prostate exam Gordon deserves, but not the one he needs...
People honestly think that making a skit about Bales Bat-voice is still funny? In the year 2011? Good lord I dont know what to say...
Theres much more to it than the voice. I watched it with the sound off, and still found it enjoyable, which is rare for SNL these days.
Like in most things. The shower scene was the best.
Also SNL skits funny again? Odd. Let me check if there are pigs fly outside.
Heh, no matter how hard Geoff John's tries to make Aquaman "badass" in the comic world, he's always going to be seen as a joke to the general public. (And yes, I'm aware he's trying to "lampshade" this in the recent nu52 book, but somehow that just seems even sadder.)
Gordon rocked back and forth in his bed "I really like what your doing with my balls." Gordon started to smile "Are you okay, honey?" Gordon turned his head to see his wife asleep. Batman popped out from under the sheets and swiped a little batch of sperm of his chin "The joker escaped Arkham!" Gordon jumped out of his bed and ran to the door.
I was actually watching the TAS episode "Joker's Favor" Friday night, & I noticed that one scene in which Batman pops in Jim Gordon's office & then disappears, just to tell him he should go to a damn banquet. I thought "What was the point?"
And now I finally get that scene.
Seriously, I love how Batman's issues keep getting more trivial, & I admittingly lose it when the bit with The Squirrel shows up. "Hey, I'm The Squirrel. I'm a new villain that's gonna take over Gotham, but Batman won't stop me because you were mean to him." Between the sudden costume & delivery, I just loved it.
Also, between Andy on SNL, Abed on Community, & Ben on Parks and Recreation a little while back, NBC is really getting into having their stars dress up as Batman. If this is leading up to some sort of Batman Inc. show starring all these people, I am 100% for it.
It was a decent show, overall, but the pedophile coach sketch was the best. Jason Sudeikis can do no wrong.
So that's how it is, huh? Make fun of the Batman while his back is turned?! Well to hell with you! I'm gonna start my own website! With blackjack, and hookers! In fact, forget the website!
Well, as I just theorized in my other comment, we aren't making fun of you, but rather just auditioning more recruits for Batman Inc. So any thoughts on the three candidates we have have so far?
