• hmm These box images look fake to me. If you look closely the pieces are very generic... I think the actual release kits will be more detailed like the Indiana Jones and Pirates of the Caribbean kits. i'm looking forward to the real thing!!!!

• these look pretty fake to me. no new pieces as far as i can tell, i think my son has pretty much all of this from the 2010 castle thingy sets. If these are real then i hope they are just placeholder mock-ups.

• So with that unpainted cave troll in the back I think it's safe to say these boxes aren't showing the final products, which is great because I see no evidence on that second image of an 'explodable' drainage gate that the Helm's Deep set HAS to have.  Kudos for Lego making a set that specifically focuses on fleshing out the orc army, since plenty of people are going to want to have a full hoard to go with that Helm's Deep set.  I doubt it'll be too expensive; I've seen Clone Wars sets with around 5 minifigs each (and a small vehicle) that were fairly cheap. Although... I noticed that the Fellowship is spread across every set.  Damn you Lego, you've got us by the balls there.

• Are you talking about the white skeleton on the left? That is the skeleton that falls down the well after Pippin disturbs it. Balin's tomb in directly under the confidential stamp and I assume Gimli is posed on top.

• That's all well and good, but I'm still more excited about a Lego Lord of the Rings video game.

• I don't recall Balin's skeleton rising from the grave to harass the Fellowship.  Maybe in the super-extra-extended Director's Cut.
