•  Also missing is anything from Doctor Who.  Unless I missed it in that chaotic layout.

• Parody is never in violation of copy write law. It's the law that you are allowed to do it.

• hahahahaha yeah was just about to make a similar comment was just getting my nerd rage properly riled up to vent like a .........angry nerdy venty thing........sorry was so angry and full of nerd rage that my inbuilt Thesaurus broke and then my Dictionary went on strike and wouldn't work in solidarity for my  Thesaurus so i had to goggle  Thesaurus for the popper spelling and  now that has messed up the text.......now i must retire and drink Mt Dew the health potion of my people and regain my faculties.

• They look a bit off because each character was done by a different artist. It's an artist collab tee for charity. All artists donated their time and talents for this shirt. It was a design something together and include everyone who wanted to participate kind of thing.

• that Ript effort made me realize  I need a  Totoro v Kirby suck off  shirt something classy with a subtle  less  penetrative dick joke but  a whole lot of Pac-man ghosts just a load  of 'em

• As someone who's been on deviantART for over six years, I can honestly say that this is pretty much an accurate statement. Of course, I've seen stuff by 14 year-olds or so that's <i>legitimately</i> good, but still...

• Man, there are 14 year olds on DeviantArt that can fart something better than that Ript picture.

• Because he also hovers over you in the morning, presumably after he raped you in your sleep... Or so the ads would make you think. 

• Interesting questions, all.  An even better question is this: Why would you purchase this t-shirt and financially support someone essentially <i>stealing</i> the intellectual property of artists and creators you appreciate and/or admire? You can bet the copyright holders don't see a dime from the sales of this thing.

• Holy Shit! This is a nerd blog, but nobody knows wTF is CHOAM? Choam is the company that the Major and Minor houses use in Dune to trade goods, purchase spice, and harvest spice. Emperor Shadam the IV made the honorable Duke Leto II head of CHOAM and that's why he moved all his shit and his family including Paul who would then become wait for it .... wait for it.... Mau'dib (SHOCK!) It's a major turning point to the jumpstart the Dune Series.  LONG LIVE THE FIGHTERS!

• I like the design on the Ript shirt, even if it is a little busy, but that color scheme is not doing it for me. 

• They made a bunch of good side bad side mistakes, maybe on purpose. Ronald McDonald is clearly the evil one, and The King is the good one!

•  It's reminding me of "the Drizzle's" superhero outfit, wherein he demanded that all of his rogue's gallery be printed on the front. Though I think the shirt is primarily meant as a "let's try to get as many people as possible to buy this" attempt, like a nerdiverse version of the "Who's Who in America" series of books that dupe people out of their money.  That and I had no idea that my neighbor, Totoro, had the power to counter and rival Cthulhu.

•  The part that pisses me off is that, despite having Perry, they replaced Doofenshmirtz with Dr. Evil! You can't have Perry the Platypus without his nemesis!

• Not Care-Were, but I almost bought Don't Care Bears from Threadless last week. I want both now. Add it to my collection.

• If only I wasn't commissioning someone.  I'd get that Good vs. Evil shirt.  Very pleased to see many of my old favorites on there, especially my favorite Venture Bros. villain.

•  If I'm not mistaken, there isn't a single DC character on the shirt. Or anything classic HB like Space Ghost, Birdman, or even Blue Falcon. I dig the charity aspect but the above combined with the poor design, no thank you.

• Heck, I want to know why the Big Daddy is on the evil side. I mean, all its doing is protecting a little girl, & it really doesn't even want to harm a fly if it doesn't have to...And then you come in & kill the guy, just because you need some ADAM. Seriously, don't bring characters that come with ethical dilemmas into this. For that matter, why's the Black Spy on the evil side but the White Spy's on the good side? What, they see a black spy & immediately assume he's evil, but whitey's gotta be all nicey-nice? Racist dicks...

• Where's Batman? No Batman? Insta-fail!

• Why exactly is The Burger King a villain? He makes magical burgers and fries and then makes them disappear right before your eyes...

• I like the Ript shirt.  It is a little busy, but that doesn't bother me.  What does bother me is that with my internet-addled mind, I will never be able to remember to go there to buy it tomorrow.

• I wonder how many of those characters Ript will be paying to use? Oh, that's right, none.

• I just want to know why Cthulhu is on the side with the bad guys - he eats bad guys too.

• I wish a higher-res version of that last shirt was available to look at.

• The Ript shirt while messy had my attention up until I saw Peter Griffin on it.  Have to pass on that alone.  That and it is a mess, people are stacked on top of one and other. 

• Not to be critical or anything, but that Ript piece looks kinda weak for a 1,000th t-shirt. It looks kinda random, some of the styles clash, & the characters look a little awkward. It looks more like something you'd win at a carnival, & kind of screams "HEY LOOK WE STUCK BUNCHA NERD ICONS ON SHIRT YOU BUY THIS". Still, it's not that bad, & the money does go to charity...Although my money would sadly go towards the Care Were tee instead. Awesome.
