I'm not going to call this a punk cover of the Katamari Damacy main theme, and I'm not going to call it metal. I am, however, going to call it totally awesome, and recommend you listen to it immediately.

Haven't listened to this yet, but what kind of "punk metal" are we talking about here? Metalcore? Crossover thrash? Sludge metal? Some hitherto-unknown blend no one has ever thought of?
Is or is not. There is no nigh. :) You're absolutely right though, calling anything (especially that) "punk metal acapella" is like calling Fan Fiction Friday "Fictional/Non-fictional Sexual-Health Journalism". It misses every descriptor mark. Some by a little, some by a lot.
