Invader Zim vs. Calvin and Hobbes!!!

Zim is sent to take over Earth. Spaceman Spiff, Calvin’s alter ego, inadvertently stumbles upon his madcap plans and does everything in his power to foil him. Hobbes, who sees everything from a real world perspective (instead of through Spaceman Spiff’s lens, constantly picks up after him and helps him save the day - while Gir keeps tripping Zim up.

Think about it: duels between Zim and Calvin, Hobbes and Gir. Zim and Gir, Calvin and Hobbes, Calvin and Gir as well as Zim and Hobbes!!!

And between Calvin’s demented imagination and Zim’s mad genius, the possibilities are limitless!!!

Mass Effect and Babylon 5....  A rift in Quadrant 14 allows a fleet of Reaper vessels to pass into the Babylon 5 universe, attacking everyone......Organic life itself. Desperate, Captain John Sheridan and his crew of Whitestars fly through the rift to request aid, recruiting FemShep and her crew (YES I play Fem-Shep) and while in the B5 universe, Shepard recruits races there for her war in her universe.... including the Vorlons (Who feel this intrusion into their universe is an insult).... and even the Shadows and the First Ones.

Shaun the Sheep meets Shaun of the Dead. 

I think this may sound a little crazy but what the hell. It would be cool to see a crossover between two of the most influential demonic anti-heroes of comics and anime:Marvel's Ghost Rider and manga artist Go Nagai's Devilman (If you don't know who this is, checkout the 1972 manga of the same name. It's an excellent read).

Plot: Fighting his arch-nemesis the Archdemon Mephisto, Ghost Rider is suddenly thrust into a dimensional wormhole. Sending him crashing into another dimension; The Spirit of Vengeance then finds himself in a apocalyptic world caused by the sudden invasion of Hell; there, The Spirit of Vengeance is suddenly caught in a war between The Devilmen Army Corp formed by humans possessed by demons, but during the merging the human takes the form of a demon and still retain their humanity- led by the fearsome Akira Fudou (Devilman) and Hell's Army led by the angelic Lord of hell himself...Satan! Ghost Rider must now find his surviving loved ones and find a way out of this hell on Earth.

B.P.R.D. agents Hellboy and Frankenstein take the weekend off to load up the trunk with cheap beer and head up to Crystal Lake for a fishing trip. They go out on the water, check the abandoned camp sites, then later sit around the fire getting shit faced and trading stories. When Jason Voorhees finally shows up, a drunken Hellboy and Frankenstein go about doing their level best to put that sumbitch in the ground once and for all. 

It takes the better part of the night but they do it. Later during breakfast at a truck stop off the highway Frankenstein gets moody and asks if they’re all that different from the man they killed. Hellboy tells him to be quiet; Creedence is on the jukebox.

Okay, so this is sort of realistic and way specific, but also never gonna happen. I want a Beatles/Doctor Who crossover. For anyone who is not aware, The Beatles almost starred on an episode of Doctor Who (first Doctor) and the fact that they didn't is one of the biggest tragedies in the entertainment industry. In the crossover, there would have to be references to songs the Beatles haven't actually played (because of course the Doctor would be a Beatles contributor) and one of them would be an actual alien beetle. My bet would be on George, because everyone would expect Ringo to be one. There would also be much running at one point, and arguments between John and the Doctor over which way to turn, and Paul and the Companions would exchange notes over how to deal with very smart, crazies. And Ringo would be kidnapped, and distract the aliens with his rings, because even aliens are entranced by Ringo's rings. In the final minutes, it would also seem we'd hear all four of them sing to the Doctor but then he would have to leave with his line about Yoko Ono. That would be the crossover I would want above all others. 

Both X-Men & Doctor Who debuted in 1963. Next year they turn 50. Aside from borrowing ideas from each other, they've never officially crossed over. THIS ENDS NOW. The mythologies of both franchises are so rich that you'd never do either justice by just sticking to one era for each. Thankfully time travel is a viable option. I don't know what the plot would be, but there should be plenty of character beats like below:The Doctor, Cable, Bishop, Marvel Girl, & Layla Miller discuss why none of their time travel experiences are consistent. Wolverine pits his Adamantium claws & healing factor against Daleks' Dalekanium shells & death rays. Romana mistakes Psylocke for a fellow Time Lady after meeting her Caucasian & Japanese bodies. Mr. Sinister & The Master team up for unethical superscience of the goatee-stroking variety. Shadowcat & Adric compete to see who could be a more obnoxious whizkid. Day of the Daleks & Days of Future Past merge into the grimdarkest alternate future possible. Warwolves eat the Slitheen. Apocalypse & Sutekh argue over which one of them was really worshipped as Set. Ace & Jubilee bond over their mutual love of blowing shit up. Mighty Jagrafess of the Holy Hadrojassic Maxarodenfoe gets into a literal & gruesome ratings war with Mojo. The Nimon decide to continue The Great Journey of Life in The Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters. Northstar & Emma Frost sucumb to the wiles of Captain Jack Harkness. Spiral is able to pilot the TARDIS thrice better than The Doctor. Toad finds a neo-Silurian to play tongue tag with. The Brigadier & UNIT must prevent the Earth from being annexed by the Shi'ar. Magnus Greel & Mr. Sin conquer the Morlocks. Omga escapes the antimatter universe into Shadow King's  lair on the Astral Plane. Moira MacTaggert is revealed as a direct descendent of Jamie McCrimmon. Forge builds a better Sonic Screwdriver out of random bits of ephemera left on the curb in tense moment after The Doctor's is destroyed again. The Kandyman woos Danger. No-Girl becomes the new owner of Morbius's patchwork body. Mystique impersonates all The Doctor's regenerations in a row. The Phoenix Force chooses the TARDIS as its new host.  Vervoids & Brood merge into the most repulsive aliens possible. Rory Williams possesses an X-Gene. Davros & Prof. X have wheelchair races. K-9 & Lockheed become the multiverse's greatest mismatched buddy cop duo.

a) Warlock. Wishmaster. Are they fighting? Are they teaming up to wreak havoc on the world? Yes.

b) What if history's greatest animated accidental heroes (saving the day without the slightest inkling of what's really going on) were to...well, maybe not team up, but stumble upon each other? Rocky and Bullwinkle meet Inspector Gadget.

c) Kim Possible has been through a lot in her young life, but nothing could prepare her for a mission in...Pandora!

Here go my 3 entries:

1)  Disney and DC.  I know Disney bought Marvel, but it always seemed to me that DC was a more natural fit.  Disney is an all-american company with almost vanilla characters and corporate culture, that can at times be shockingly innovative.  Reminds me a lot of DC.  Besides, are there any more American characters than Mickey Mouse and Superman.  Just think of cover with Superman and Mickey Mouse drawn by Curt Swan signed with Walt Disney's name.  Ah...America

2)The League of Extraordinary Saturday Morning Cartoons.  Optimus Prime, Snake Eyes, He-Man, Leonardo, and Rainbrow Brite must join forces to stop an invasion from Dimension X.  Also Optimus Prime and Rainbow Brite have a creepy weird affair that spawns at least 3 different Fan Fiction Fridays.

3)  The Venture Bros. and any other show/movie/comic/video game/entertainment propert ever made. Fuck it!  Venture Bros are awesome!

A 21st Century crossover between Parker Brothers and Marvel Comics.  Why?  Three letters, two glowing eyes, one name that fans are begging to hear again.  ROM!

Godzilla vs. Gamera:  I don't care what happens as long as Gamera destroys 'Zilla thus proving that a Japanese rip off of the actual Godzilla is better than the American version. 

Saved by the Bell meets Beverly Hills 90210:  The cast of Bayside High has to move to another high school after the school board revises the district lines.  Zack Morris and Dylan race motorcycles.  AC Slater and Steve Sanders compete for women and for the school's record wins in wrestling.  Andrea and Jessie both get addicted to caffeine pills in their competition to be valedictorian.

One: Pokemon and The Hunger Games

Once a year the government holds televised Pokemon tournaments where each of the world's top gyms must choose a trainer tribute to compete in seeded gladiator-style death matches until one trainer emerges victorious. Each match's losing trainer and his Pokemon, if they have not been killed in battle, are brutally executed. Using wit, heart, and skill our hero Ash Ketchum, only participating so that his old, feeble mentor Professor Oak need not represent the poor, mining Pallet District, attempts to make it out of the tournament with his, his Pokemon's, and love interest/Cerulean district tribute Misty's lives intact, even as he faces competitors who seem to thrive on violence, like the Professor's treacherous nephew Gary Oak.

Two: Pokemon and Battle Royal

To participate in a free-for-all death match they refer to as The Pokeprogram, the government selects a group of young Pokemon trainers, all of whom think they are about to participate in a friendly tournament, and transports them to a secret location called Cinnabar Island. Each trainer is equipped with basic survival gear, a map, and a single pokemon randomly selected from their personal collection. Trainers end up with everything from high-level Eevee evolutions to shitty just-caught Metapods. The trainers are fitted with stupid trucker hats that will explode if taken off or tampered with, or if the trainer attempts to leave the island or enter one of its restricted zones. They are set loose on the island in intervals, told that they must eliminate the competition by whatever means necessary until only one trainer survives, with or without their Pokemon. Once again our Hero Ash Ketchum and his loyal Pikachu, along with secret crush Misty and Pokeprogram veteran Brock, attempts to beat the system and escape. Complicating things are emotionless killer Gary Oak (it is always, always that douchebag Gary Oak), beautiful, deceptive deliquescent Jessie, and James, who believes he is living out a magical girl fantasy.

Three: Pokemon and God of War

After a grueling  tournament in which several of his closest Pokecompanions are killed, Ash Ketchum's Pikachu comes to a startling realization. He, and all the other Pokemon of the world, are just puppets toiling at the whim of their captors, the humans. Deciding to wage war on Ash and all the other trainers of the world, Pikachu embarks on a bloody, brutal quest to kill his oppressors and throw the Pokemon world into anarchy. Aided by the spirits of the legendary Pokemon that came before him,who he will eventually turn on as well, Pikachu ascends the throne to become his own twisted version of the very best, the Pokemon Master.

I just really wanna see Pokemon beating the shit out of each other, okay?

All I want to see is a well done 4 part Batman vs Carmen Sandiego...

Entry 3: The Muppets Meet the Feebles.Kermit and the gang try to come to grips with the variety-show scene in New Zealand, and have difficulties getting along with their new castmates. Specifically the STD-riddled rabbit, the elephant with the weak bladder, and the unhinged morbidly-obese hippo who's about to gun down everybody in a jealous rage. Animal seems to get on just fine, and Waldorf & Statler get the best show of their lives (because it turns out that what they've been wanting all these years is the vaudeville equivalent of John Waters).

For anyone unfamiliar with the show Dexter (I'm assuming everyone here is more than familiar with Batman), it's about a serial killer who only goes after other killers. Entry 2: Battlestar Galactica and BSGThat is, the kinda goofy Mormon-flavored Star-Wars knockoff with silk robes and robot dogs or whatever meets the post-apocalyptic, gritty, soul-crushing remake. Starbuck (the girl) beats the shit out of Starbuck (the Jordache Jeans model with the highlights). Edward James Olmos destroys the G1 Cylons with his bemused disdain. Tom Zareck has an identity crisis and loses his mind.

CSI and My Little Pony. There will be blood, rainbow blood.

Sure, crime shows are a little outside of standard geekfare, but I think we can make a pass here. Ex-spy Michael Westen and DetectiveBeckett are both forces to be reckoned, natural leaders, and go about things inentirely different manners. Both are pragmatic enough to work with the other ifthe situation required it, but it wouldn’t be easy. This alone would be enoughfor an awesome crossover, and it would no doubt be the core of the A-story – butlet’s not kid ourselves, everyone is here for the B. This is the crossover thatlets Bruce Campbell, as a retired Navy SEAL and professional schmoozer, team upwith Nathan Fillion, as an energetic and suave mystery writer. It’s not Mal andAsh, but their hijinks would still the thing dreams are made from.

Ok, if this contest was maybe a month ago, i would have said Super Sentai crossed with Kamen Rider, but that is happening in a month or so, so that is out of the water. But what about Kamen Rider crossed with Saban's Masked Rider? Kamen Rider Decade goes to a strange dimension, where familiar faces are fighting familiar monsters, but everything is fucked up. It is up to the Destroyer of Riders to kill all in this world, so that the Multi-verse will suck a little bit less, and that no human being will have to watch the atrocity that is Saban's Masked Rider ever again.

I don't really have a plot idea, I'd just really like to get Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Jack Harkness in the same scene.
