I, being a lady nerd, would gladly squee at this (yay for shirtless Bat!), but those tattoos are just so distracting. :c Batman does not need tattoos. Batman is too awesome for tattoos. And tattoos on their own can be pretty awesome sometimes, so when you mix awesome + awesome apparently you get mediocre.

That guy does not do it for me. Ugly weird tattoos, and his chin stubble is grey, for Robin's sake.

This picture has me hoping that maybe, just maybe... Nolan will have a scene with Bale Batman hanging upside down and Catwoman standing below him, in the rain, mutual mask removal and Catwoman planting a big, wet, feline kiss on Batman. Maybe in the Wham Bam Thank You Ma'am Extended Edition.

I'm a straight female, and this screams "gay guys only", not many ladies like the hairy legs, unshaven face and thong undies in some of the pics. Just my impression, but they do basically nothing for me.

XD He's not an unattractive man, I'm sure, but just showing him as himself would have been sexier. He makes for a bit of a crap Batman. XD Funny-looking, yes, sexy-looking, no. Not for me anyhow.

Not sexy. Tribal tatoos on Batman - ick. A bit too muscular for my taste, too. And all I can see is that terrible "costume"... My 6 year old nephew ties a piece of cloth around his neck and runs around with that mask, for crying out loud. Seeing that get up on a grown man in his underwear takes the photo from "beefcake" into "hilariously disturbing". All he needs now are some Batman underroos.

Looks like he needs a little "Just For Men" for his Bat Beard.
