I was getting on each post listing in wp-admin, under the comments column: Warning: number_format() expects parameter 1 to be double, string given in /path/to/wp/wp-includes/functions.php on line 156 If I deactivate disqus, now everything works fine ..........

My comments through Disqus appear to post, but then never show up on my page and seem to disappear once I've refreshed.   It's happened to me on numerous sites the past couple weeks.   Any ideas what might be causing that?

well our blogs comments working well, there is no such kind issue on blogs.

I assume they edit posts and don't like my progressive slant. I show as logged in but never get a comment box. Before this they would say "Error" and I would lose my comment completely. I visualize a boiler room in West Virginia full of inbreds that can barely read editing comments.

I never ever had problems preserve for sometimes on my .phone the e-mail and individual name areas totally recast or an embeded movie prevents me from pressing areas.

This is just Rob's subtle jab that all the entries so far suck balls...........lol

I wrote one myself. When I added the @ to anything. It kept trying to link other people from the page to it. Plus at the end after all the mishaps. When I tried to do a P.S. it put it in the same sentence.

Mine didn't show up, and I virtually never enter the contests, So if an extension is granted to I can try an re-visualize what I originally posted, I'd be for it. But if not, oh well.

My prize winning entry is simply not there!

I had trouble making up fake emails because using the @ was giving me options to reply to people when I didn't want to. I did post a comment in the contest thread that it was easier for me to just write my entry in another window, like in Word or on Facebook (but not posting it), and then copy-paste in here. 

The edit feature is completely gone, but from the comments it sounds like others have access to it.

I had the same problem with most people, had to edit out a lot of my fake emails.

I don't recall having any problems with posts appearin, but I'm fine with an extension.

I personally haven't had any problems, but all these "flagged for moderation" posts might be a side effect from that troll a while back.

I had a thread of about four entries but only the first two showed up when the page refreshed. I didn't bother re-typing them because, well, they weren't that funny the first time...

This is the regular poster TrapJaw. I still can't post on Disqus under my regular username. I tried to enter the contest eight times Sunday most of my entries ever posted or if they did, they ended up disappearing a few minutes later. I even had one that was flagged for moderation immediately after posting. 

The contest being extended would only decrease my chances of winning, so I will answer with an emphatic no, as well as the reminder that the only thing I love more than the Avengers is you, Rob. Let this have as much effect on your judging the contest as you want. 

I have not had any problems, but I must say this is the cutest blog post I've seen anywhere, and another reason why TR stands out from other nerd/film blogs- it actually cares!

Disqus made my comment less clever. Well, either that or the drinking.

Yeah, I tried to post my entries something like eight times on Sunday. Sometimes they'd appear on the site and then disappear a few minutes later. Other times it would say that it "edits need to be approved by a moderator" and then once it put the post on the site and immediately flagged it for review.

My entry disappeared on Saturday, then reappeared Sunday.    

The only trouble I have with weekend contests is that I don't win them.

I didn't have any problems entering the contest itself, but Disqus gave me a whole heap of trouble with the whole "clever email address" part. 

I havent ever had problems save for sometimes on my .phone the email and user name fields reset or an embeded video blocks me from clicking sections. ..but that is just me on my shitty phone os..

mainly I clicked on this because I came to TR to see if anuone cared about that bullshit DC pulled with Question in that FCBD comic... if anyone cares about them completely altering another lesser known yet quite beloved with a cult.following character...

and then I see the first thread title starts woth "Question" but then read the rest and realize it is a coincidence and unrelated...(or is it?!? That is what THEY want us to think!!)

Entered two, both seem to have made it online OK.

They only hitch was that trying to enter a fake email address tried to link the post to a twitter ID. Perhaps it's related.

I should say also, that someone posted a similar idea to mine after my first comment disappeared, so if I did repost my entry, it might look like I was copying him/her.

I entered this weekend, posted my entry twice because it disappeared the first time.  I can't find the 2nd one either, so I gave up on it..  If you want to extend it cool, but no need to do it on my account.
