The X-Men: First Class Sequel Is Going Back to the Future

Did X-Men: First Class not break the X-Men movie continuity hard enough for you? Then I have some good news, as the sequel has a title (which isn’t the obvious X-Men: Second Class). The film’s title will be X-Men: Days of Future Past, based on the classic Chris Claremont tale in which a future Kitty Pride possesses her younger self to warn the X-Men about the shitty, Sentinel-infested future. So does this mean Wolverine is stopping by? Probably not, since he’s busy with his own movie right now. Will Ellen Page be back as Kitty Pride? Almost certainly not. If the movie is set in the past, does that mean the dark, alternate future is actually set in our present? Now I’m just making my head hurt. Right now, all we know is the movie’s title, so let’s not worry about anything else. Although if I were a betting man, I’d say if nothing else we’ll finally get to see a goddamn Sentinel.
