The Avengers Movie Could Have Been a Total Bummer
More features from the Avengers Blu-ray have seeped out, including this somber alternate opening for the film, which begins are the final fight, with a wrecked New York City, civilian casualties, and Maria Hill bitching about Nick Fury, the Avengers, and pretty much everything. I can’t tell you how grateful I am that this intro was not used. I don’t want to watch a movie where the Avengers are a bad idea, I want to watch a movie where the Avengers are the best idea ever. Because I think the Avengers are the best idea ever. Also, I’m pretty sure Agent Coulson thought the Avengers were a good idea, too. MOVIE, DO YOU THINK YOU KNOW BETTER THAN AGENT COULSON?!
