This is actually based on a Star Wars trading card drawn by George Perez. Instead of a little stone hammer the ewok originally had a blade but they made Perez change it. Now I wanna see some murdering ewoks.
Wouldn't it be great if the star wars cookbook had an entry for how to serve imperial stormtroopers for victory celebration festival.
As nature proves time and again.....just because something looks cuddly and friendly ...doesn't mean that it is.
Fun bit in the new Star Wars book about Essential warfare where they have a story of a stromtrooper on Endor who snaps "the people doing those holodramas are liars, they make those things look cute like toys" and yells about Ewoks using poison arrows and ruthless with blasters, fun bit there.
They come out after midnight to trick you into feeding them. Oh they seem fine...as long as you dont get them wet!!!
In the shot on the right, it looks like the Scout Trooper is wearing a very trendy (and deadly) scarf.
This is the most adorable representation of Ewoks since that one that got murdered by an AT-ST.
I just want to say that Ewoks were misrepresented as carnivorous savages in Return of the Jedi. Anyone who has seen the documentary The Ewok Adventure: Caravan of Courage, narrated by Burl Ives, knows that the Ewoks were a benevolent tribe that welcomed humans into their tree-top village with open arms. They risked life and limb to rescue the parents of their other-wordly visitors. George Lucas never gets anything right...
