I think if they did remake it I wouldn't be surprised if they included the latest dubstep, rap, and/or pop in it.
Don't worry, Back to the Future isn't getting remade (...yet. We all know it's coming, though, right?). But College Humor has offered this look at the horrors that await us. Question: Is that really how people dance to dubstep? I'm both old and not cool, so I have no idea, but christ, I could have done that. And if I can do that, it probably shouldn't count as dancing. God! Are you trying to give us all heart attacks? Don't give your posts titles like that!
My fav movie ever, I hope to god they don't remake it, but if they do, just remake the first one, and make it either in this generation (though I am 26 I am all for a bttf movie that takes place now and goes back 30 years from 2012) or remake it scene for scene, though I am all against a remake, and even a number 4, I just couldn't see it done, unless it is about Doc's children and they are grown up then I don't know, leave my childhood alone hollywood!
I'm all for a BTTF remake!
Sounds awesome! Just get it going already - we need a remake of that dated cheesy 80's flick!
News that isn't news: Andrew Garfield and Marc Webb are reteaming for the Back to the Future remake.
I got the proper response to that: Why? Why why why why why why? Why? Why? Just...just...why? Why? Why? I mean...why? If they're looking for something old to be new again, why not an adaptation of "The Running Man" that remained faithful to the Stephen King book? You know, less cheese, more uncomfortable 9/11 references?
sadly that will be the first thing removed from the remake. and love the reactions on the bands faces when he does that.
...I don't want to live on this planet anymore... No wait, I LIKE this planet! YOU get off, Skrillex!!
I don't know a remake of Back to the Future every 30 years where the main character goes back to the year the last one was made could be pretty interesting. You get to poke fun at all the stuff that we take for granted now but wasn't around back then, and how backward things seems to the teenager making the visit.
@drszmigiel Delorean with an Ipad that controls the FLux Capacitor, running the time machine on Mac so Apple can product place the newest of new tech for time travel, an interesting concept, Director now, hmmmm, tough choice
Agreed.
(Unsure if the Christless comment system will allow me to say more than "agreed", so just "agreed". {g})
@James.k.Polk To be fair, there are a few good dubstep songs I've heard, however mostly any of the good ones to me are the ones that sound original, interesting, different, and actually go somewhere in the song. Sadly, I find most dubstep to all sound the same, but there are a few gems (the song from Attack the Block, for instance).
@James.k.Polk I was "exposed" to it recently too after a lot of "that Dubstep shit stinks". Althouhgt there are some tracks that aren't that bad, I find Nix.Nightbird description being pretty accurate in how it sounds and how it feels like.
@AFMG @James.k.Polk I've always thought the best description for it I've ever heard was "two washing machines trying to fuck"
That was the mild stuff.
The more intense stuff sounds like Kraftwerk being murdered by a t-rex with the power of his flatulence being forced through a high-powered fan.
