What if Super Mario Bros. was a Chinese gangster film? That’s the question posed by this entertaining fan video from writer/director Girard Tescon. By mixing comedy with some impressive martial arts action, Tescon has re-contextualized the Super Mario saga into the real world. And he did it without making any lame plumbing jokes. My (red) hat is off to you, good sir.
