@kspidel Hi. Please first don't think or read this with me being angry. This is not an angry rant but a concerned rant. You guys have got a lot in the air right now and I'd hate for you to drop anything.
I've help beta test many things and know things that should work sometimes don't. I also know there is a time for fixing and a time for getting the customer's needs met. If you would except a few suggestions.
- I was taught while debugging and repairing you need to change one thing at a time. Right now that would actually be getting us someone to do the articles. We know Rob's shoes will be hard to fill but these post are one of the reasons we come.
- Set us back to the first Voice commenting system. It's not perfect and we will complain but you guys did the first major unwritten sin of debug/repair. You changed a lot all at once and can't isolate problems. Go back to the first voive commenting system and add the new features one at a time. (I.E. mobile support was a big bug in first) Once that fixed then move to edit button. Then after a couple of weeks when we see the problems, you can isolate and fix them. Then we can move on from there....
We are a patient lot (despite what we sound like) Start by getting us someone to post first. Then we will work with you on the commenting system.

@Someguy thank you for your detailed response. There are many moving things that are happening. The roll out for these fixes where planned before Rob's departure. That said, we have prioritized our resources to just that. Quality posts and community engagement.Some of these "one at a time" features you speak of our out of our control as Livefyre is a service that powers our commenting system. These features are version by version and not built internally here. We mold what they have. That said, this community has provided THE BEST feedback out of our many sites.The schedule to roll out globally was set in stone a while back. But we chose to come to you first due to your great feedback. The community here totally rocks and we have learned a lot from you all. Truly are thankful.That said, we hear you. Mission "Get Topless Robot an Editor" is priority.Thank you again for your feedback. We hear you loud and clear.

Yeah that's right, Vader is coming back with a new plan to control the galaxy (I seriously don't think anyone involved in episode 7 actually has seen any of the other films) anyway here's the clip

@Lithroe I think it's pretty clear that My Voice Nation knows what's best for all of us so just accept your new identity, you'll receive a folder containing your new personal history and other background information in a few days.
And remember that it could be worse - they re-designated me as an anthropomorphic fish... so "blub" I guess. Probably should stock up on white wine.
