Why? Because Stefano Chiechi of Stealth Cosplay has spent the last couple of months building himself an impressive War Machine suit. He's been detailing his progress at his YouTube site since October, and has just unleashed the finished product (which was completed with the help of his girlfriend, so let that be a lesson to those of you who think that your love of cosplay will never land you a mate). As you can see above the only missing is working arc reactor tech. Well that and Chiechi throwing a drunken Tony Stark around his apartment. I'm willing to overlook this small detail because the suit is so great otherwise. (Via Robot 6)

@da_bearon Not sure where it states that it's a real War Machine suit. I think you need to get off the internet a bit. It was just a costume he made for fun.
is this guy also 5 feet tall like most of them? They look really stupid in public, like lego versions of the actual superheroes...

I was upset to hear about the defection going on here, but the tone of the site seems identical and the links are great and I don't have to read i09!! TOPLESS ROBOT FOREVER!!!

@notbad.jpeg I've been trying to read io9 to get accustomed to it for when Rob's posts kick in, but I'm finding it difficult. The formatting of the site is terrible, I'm not sure if that's just me.

Looks good. I hate talented people.
On a serious note, since they are obviously up to the task. They may want to mount a light in the Gatling gun with some holes in so that it looks like muzzle flash when it spins.

But come on, when filming the video, find a better backdrop than your living room....
Might want to have a model who is:
A. Black
B. Taller
C. Less stubby-looking
There's a reason why most special effects guys and costumers don't actually wear their creations on screen.
