Here in Los Angeles, everybody wants to win a gold statuette of a naked, featureless dude. That's cool and all, but when I look back on my life, I want to see a career honor like this:

That's Metal Gear director Hideo Kojima as Raiden, a one-of-a-kind 8" Play Arts figure from Square Enix to salute his achievements. And since these figures have interchangeable heads, he can now be Batman, Master Chief or any other character in the roster.
Take that, Anne Hathaway! Oh, wait...
Do any of you collect these Play Arts toys? I like the look of them but they kinda scream "instant breakage!" in a frightening way...

Unfortunately, there's a manufacturing error with this toy where every time you try to play with it, it makes you sit down and listen to it deliver a rambling dialogue about the nature of war that sounds like something a naive 3rd year sociology major* crapped out while high on peyote.
Strange, that.
* - Yes, I know, there isn't any other kind.

I actually own all but 2 in the Batman Arkham Series figures. They're actually very durable. Made of nice plastics and actually pretty heavy. Getting the hands off can be a bit of a pain in the ass sometimes but I've never broken a part on any of the figures. For the cash that these things cost, I'd be very pissed if anything broke on them from something as basic as changing a part out.

As long as you don´t change the hands too often there should be no problem.
For comparison here is the review of the Play Arts Peace Walker Snake figure:
if all awards were awesome toys you could take down off the mantle and play with rather than stationary gold plaques/statuettes/medals to hang on your wall and let gather dust, the world would be a better place.
@rabidronnie Well, at least Tom Hanks found use for his as a hood ornament.

@Timely-Tardis-Lego @rabidronnie um, that's an Emmy, not an Oscar.
@rabidronnie Do you know What's awesome?

I'll have one of those and two Anne Hathaway please.
You really don't play with toys like that anyways. They sit on shelves and watch your other toys battle to the death.
