This is the second thing team Obama has done this week that I approve of. Some kind of record.
The idea behind the whole petition thing was to make "the people" the filter through which ideas/complaints/comments reached the paid employee filters since traditional letters get circular filed and responded to with a form letter.
Good project for those with kids - have them write letters wishing their representatives well so they can receive the official form response letters, but otherwise they are too far up and too far away.
