I stopped playing after Halo.
I see Cortana got a DD upgrade and unlocked the stripper avatar sometime between then and now.
Yes, Conan tries his hand at Halo 4, in which he and Andy Richter make a cameo appearance...
The taunts he issues while driving the tank are golden. "Want a death cookie with some blow-up milk?" is going to enter my comeback vocabulary right now.
And I love how he gets into the game in spite of himself. It's pretty much the definition of inner nerd coming out (not that his outer shell looks especially non-nerdy to begin with).

I honestly couldn't get past the part where Conan is looking completely unimpressed by the guy's detailed explanation of the storyline.
Sorry, whatever form of geekiness you subscribe to, it's at least in part about the story. Mocking the guy for being invested in the plot of the game that he enjoys. . . just doesn't seem terribly geek-friendly to me.
@rabidronnie Geez really? The skits are pretty funny if you're a gamer and you're able to laugh at yourself..........................oh.............oh I see what happened.

@rabidronnie To be fair 1) the explanation was staged so Conan could be bored for the camera and even then 2) the level of convolution in the plot for most games is only going to intimidate or bore most players. Especially casual gamers who won't even bother to finish a game. You get into that stuff after you're into the game. First tell them "it's a shooting game" - a really great (for console but nearly unplayable for PC) shooting game.

@Gallen_Dugall @rabidronnie I agree, but at the same time I question the value of a host like Conan who plays at being sympathetic to geek culture rehash the tired stereotype "Ohmygosh you know all this stuff? You must be single and have no life."

@rabidronnie @Gallen_Dugall Low hanging fruit it's true, and yet the sports fan can memorize volumes of statistics and be considered perfectly normal. I'll start to worry when life is fair - because then there'll be cotton-candy
