@random-shane I agree - the first few issues aren't especially funny, it's not especially fun to read and the art just doesn't grab me like the previous run did. thumbs down... so far, at least
@LYT @random-shane it's not a good book in general, so I 'd say Posehn and the other writer Duggan are to blame It tries to be too funny, but really, Marvel gave them the keys to the car and this dead presidents run was the best they came up with?
It's exactly the Deadpool that came before with better art work.
1) Give Deadpool a wacky enemy to fight - check
2) Show DP getting lots of trauma and take loads of damage to remind us of the healing factor - check
3) Deadpool does pop culture BS so he's hip and jive - check
4) He's insane, so let's do crazy stuff - check
