I have to say, I really like the premise. Like Spawn or Brimstone but way more psychologically sado-masochistic.

Oh no! I love Ben Templesmith (hence the avatar), but I cannot be bothered with JMS anymore. And this video just reeks of his ego. I loved Rising Stars.. but it was a mess coming out due to drama between him and Top Cow. And then I bought into his Spider-man.. though that got messed up just as much due to editorial. Yet what whore him off in my book was this DC fiasco where he kicked Gail Simone off Wonder Woman and also took over Superman... only to walk off those halfway through because he only wanted to write full graphic novels for DC's dumb redundant mess Earth One line.
Also.. hasn't the whole Spawn / Brimstone / Reaper bounty hunter for the after life because he's going to hell been done enough before? Eh. I guess it's no more cliche than the millionaire who becomes a vigilante to better his city.
So I'm really torn here. How much I like Ben Templesmith vs how much I dislike JMS.
Sounds interesting however what is the point? If we know he is dying and getting to be with the one he loves for five minutes what is the comic about? Is it watching him die again in an adventure because if death just has you brought back then the only real problem would be if he fell in love with another woman in the living world.
But in the end even if the deal was, hey come work for us, you will feel the pain of death but you won't rot in hell (even if you don't get five minutes in heaven with the girlfriend) isn't that a decent deal on it's own?
thought the exact same thing - suffer periodically or suffer continuously

I've been watching the old He-Man cartoon and I was surprised by the number of episodes that J. Michael Straczynski wrote. I know him mostly as "The Babylon 5 Guy". Paul Dini wrote a bunch too.
