For a hundred bucks, though, you can preorder one. At 12 inches, he's just the right scale to fight this guy.
I find it weird that swastikas are verboten on action figures, but toy makers had no problem slapping that big ol' Confederate flag on the General Lee toys in the 80s. In the minds of many people, the Confederate flag is a weaker cousin of the Nazi swastika.
Of course, the real tragedy is that the swastika was a positive symbol before Hitler went and ruined it.

the company can always state that technically the figlures were zombie first and the nazie uniforms were all they had near them to wear. though maybe the things since they are zombies first will slip under the radar and not cause such a backlash till some one sees like a kid with one or their adult collector lover or spouse then the new uproar will begin

It's stated explicitly by a zombie (well, half of one- Tied down in the embalming room) in RotLD 1 that brains temporarily relieve the pain of being dead. As she said "I can feel myself rotting!"
And if you've never seen RotLD, then you're missing one of the best horror-comedies, ever. O'Bannon was Romero's partner at one time, and the two went entirely different directions with the Living Dead franchise. O'Bannon's RotLD treats NotLD as a temporary event that happened because of a chemical spray created by the U.S. Army ("A sort of spray-on marijuana"), while Romero's story assumes that what happened in NotLD never ends, and the world falls apart (it also never truly says what caused it, but they hint that it was a passing comet that irradiated Earth.)

reason why the dead in the RotLD series need to eat delicious brains is
because it stops the pain of being dead. Or some such shit. I think
that was brought up in part II where the boyfriend is trying to resist
eating his girlfriend's brain.
@FreeHat @skrag2112 @Gallen_Dugall Return of the Living Dead started it, but they mostly talk about it or bite into peoples skulls. One of the DTV sequel's does show a zombie chowing on some very rubbery looking brains. It also had mini-gun toting cyborg zombies, but somehow was still not as entertaining as the original.

@skrag2112 @Gallen_Dugall I don't think I've ever seem a zombie movie where they eat brains, plenty where they nom on arms, necks, boobs, intestines, legs, etc etc but never brains far as I can remember.
@arivalscientist better that than Outpost or the sequel. So much potential, disappointing delivery.

Their argument was flawed anyway because the Captain America toyline gave us Hydra guys. Who are technically Nazi breakaways, but that still makes them Nazis - just crazier ones.
And didn't the Indiana Jones figures give us Nazis too?
@GeneralTekno Yep. The Red Skull figure that was released when Captain America: The First Avenger came out in 2011 had no swastikas present, but I sure could tell ol' Schimdt was wearing a Nazi uniform- which was recycled from the Indiana Jones Nazi soldier figures.

This figure kinda tries to do that - but then it has a swastika armband.

@LYT If the subject is about real, actual Nazis, then no. Godwin's Law only applies when the comparison comes out of nowhere or is completely inappropriate to the subject being discussed.
All that aside, toy and model companies have been making Third Reich based stuff for decades. Why has everyone waited until now to get snippy about it?
Right. It would be Godwinning to say "Hasbro's refusal to make the toys we want isn't all that different than the way the Nazis were!"

@skrag2112 @LYT Serious answer - model kits have a tradition of being replicas of actual vehicles, and require the skill of a more mature hobbyist. Action figures were traditionally aimed at kids who, an outsider might suspect, will not appreciate the context of slavery or the Holocaust, and thus trivialize real-life tragedies as being on a par with supervillains' msideeds.
