I just can't believe an SNL skit got posted, and people didn't immediately rip it to shreds and slam the show for being "unfunny since 1976."
This makes me happy.
I think the Brad Pitt impersonation is a bit too literal to source, and would like to have seen more of Jay Pharoah's Sam Jackson, but otherwise, this seems not unlike something that could be conceived on the QT. Particularly impressive is Kenan Thompson doing an actual impersonation, rather than making whoever he's doing into a version of him.
I would buy the action figures before anybody complained, for sure.
(My favorite sketch of the show after the jump. It's not necessarily nerdy in any way except the awkward one, though.)

The only thing I was hoping for was "No more Mr. Christ Guy", but I'm not complaining in the least.
Thre was a real decent "Kids In The Hall" type sketch in the show too.......Fred Armisen in drag is funny. Oh, and it was nice to see more of Jay Pharoah.....his impersonations are hilarious
@walrusonion You're not fooling anyone Rob, get back to io9 and stop backstabbing LYT - I swear that the blogger character class has been broken ever since they allotted backstabbing as a standard class ability
@Gallen_Dugall @walrusonion In fairness to anybody complaining today - holidays are slow news days.
@LYT @Gallen_Dugall @walrusonion fairness? You want things to be fair? FAIR? Because I don't see any cotton candy and it ain't even a fairly fair fair without cotton candy
@walrusonion@walrusonion He does fine, learn to adapt and not be whiney. I actually like LYT's articles better, lord knows there are less typos and mistakes (remember when he said Wreck it Ralph was a Pixar movie?)
You got this Luke, you're doing a great job!

Fuck Tarantino! This is all the Jesus I need!
@skrag2112 Have you actually seen that movie? It doesn't live up to the title.
@LYT @skrag2112 It is, on the other hand, a perfect film to bring to "Oh my god, you ASSHOLE, why would you subject us to this?!" movie nights, if you should happen to have those with friends like I do.
Would have made more sense with the Brad Pitt character as Judas since he was the hard core anti-roman but all anyone remembers him for is the "betrayal"
I don't understand why the second one is funny, that went better than any date I've ever had.
@Gallen_Dugall Tell me about it. There was a woman who used to send me creepy letters like that all the time...
... I married her.
@GarethPrime @Gallen_Dugall okay, now I'm jealous
