Awesome work, and seeing Adric made me doubly sad in this mash up. Very well chosen counterparts all around.
As a California resident who has frequently played host to my very English mother (I refuse to say "veddy" because she doesn't either), I have come to realize that aside from the fact that we use variations of the same language, our cultures and mindsets are almost entirely dissimilar.
And yet, somehow, the quintessentially Californian Jeffrey "The Dude" Lebowski and essentially English alien The Doctor found a way to merge quite nicely in this new fan video, a (nearly) shot-for-shot remake of The Big Lebowski's trailer. What I like best about it is that it has a solid knowledge of old Who as well as new, from Walter as the Brigadier to Robots of Death and classic Master.

Is "The Big Lebowski" something worth watching? It was a '90s thing. I was elsewhere.
@Gallen_Dugall most seem to find it awesome or boring. some (as lyt says) often find it better on repetition. personally i loved it.
@Gallen_Dugall When I first saw it I thought it was a letdown for the Coen brothers, but it gets better on repetition. Especially once you know it's loosely based on veteran publicist Jeff Dowd and NRA poster-director John Milius.

@misterkittridge The "casting" decisions are amazing! Each one was better than the last. I think the desiccated master as saddam was the biggest surprise, but 11 as the stranger was nice too. In the process of this did you brain-storm a cast list for the full film?
It took me along time to figure out that was Master from the 4th Doctor.
But I just knew I had seen it from the new series or something.
Till I saw the sash of Rassilon. Now the new series Master with skeleton face
was creepy, but for Moth eaten costume from the seventies, it was still
creepier.

@Corbomite @Corbomite I was the First Doctor / The Big Lebowski in this production. I can vividly remember sitting with a group of friends and came up with this left field question of who would you recast Lewboski characters with Docotr Who ones. The thing wrote itself from there. We defintiely brainstormed virtually evry charcter that night and scenes that didn't make it to the trailer. We even said at the time that this should be turned into a fan film. Months later, Bob was already organizing shoot dates, assembling other friends to perform their respective roles. Our very talented friend, Rick Schultz, directed and shot the thing as well generating the green screen effects. Big tip of the hat goes to him for the final result.
Actually, big kudos to all involved because this couldn't happen without their time, help and input.

@Corbomite @misterkittridge I think back when we were still daydreaming about it we may have (when we thought we were just talking and never thought we would actually DO something about it), but I forget what was said at the time.
Funny, because on another site somebody said that Ten would have made a better Dude and I instantly knew that he'd never seen The Big Lebowski and was born no earlier that 2000.
@misterkittridge @Corbomite i think 10 as the dude is an awful idea. if there's one casting decision that is undeniably correct in this video, in my opinion it's the dude (i liked all the rest too).

I threw in some ideas here and there. I'm also the VOC Robot and the 9th Doctor/Malibu sheriff.
