Cardboard can be quite a media to work with. Remember its all only stage craft in the end.
It only has to look good from a distance. And in this case it is really complicated.
I once made a Cylon out of cardboard. Looked good from a distance.
Was at a convention, and some kid with a crummy Jawa had to tell me my suit looked crummy.
I told he his mom should have taught him better manners.

...but there are pictures. We're not supposed to believe our eyes? OUR EYES? Clearly corrugated cardboard is the super matterial that these suits are made of and we must take the initiative to control the worlds stockpiles of this matterial. USAlund cannot afford a cardboard gap with the great white threat to the north!

That's pretty impressive. Now shoot something out of it that won't cause it to burst into flames. I also want to shoot it and see how bullet proof it really is.

Oh my glob, corrugated cardboard is the super material Stark makes his armor out of? I guess that makes some sense becuase it doesn't behave like a metal, but do you people have any idea who produces all the world's corrugated cardboard? CANADA! Suddenly the whole story has taken a very dark twist. We're talking maple syrup dark.
