@Timely-Tardis-Lego Wow Dragon ball pizza balls! They are also having Krillen breadsticks, the mentioned x-shaped french-fries and of course Majin-Bu Milk pudding!
They are rapping it up April 8th according to this site.

Weekend Dump:
Did anybody listen to the radio production of Neverwhere on BBC? It's available for streaming at the link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01r522y/episodes/guide James McAvoy, Benedict Cumberbatch, Anthony Stewart Head, Bernard Cribbins, and several other excellent voice actors doing a 6-part rendition of a Neil Gaiman novel. first episode is an hour long, other 5 are 30 minutes.
Doctor Who news--Jack Harkness will, sadly, not be joining the 50th anniversary cast. He WILL, however, be meeting the doctor again in a couple upcoming episodes (I'm guessing series 8).
@Canadian.Scott @rabidronnie They've also announced, though, that he will be in some new adventures. So I'm remaining optimistic.
@Someguy You're right, some Captain Jack, stretched out is better then a one-off...that's what he said...
@rabidronnie @Canadian.Scott It's better for him to be in a few episodes then jammed into one special so I'm okay with it.
@rabidronnie I do believe the interviews with Barrowman for the Doctors Revisited series was done during his work on Doctor Who. Really enjoying the revisited series.
For James Bond fans the BondCast just posted the first part of their review of From Russia With Love - for free over on iTunes, I know iTunes sucks, but at least it's free. And their analysis of Doctor No is very listenable.
Did anyone else watch Sunday Morning this week? There was a segment on the new found popularity of romance novels in which one woman who was written well over 100 of them used a a pair of Barbies and a Ken doll to demonstrate how she decides how to pose her characters.
http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=50143476n
The entire segment is actually rather humorous, but also makes me a bit more suspicious of e-readers.
Apparently CN is finally playing the rest of Scooby-Doo Mystery Inc. season 2 starting Monday at 5:00/4:00c.
CN is run by assholes. They kill every great thing they have. SDMI, Young Justice, etc. It's like they just can't stand to see a show pick up a fan following.
@troi That's great. I see Happy Endings is on at 8:00 PM so I can watch a hour of Happy Endings and then an hour of Grimm at 9:00 PM.
@miketen10 @Canadian.Scott Agreed. I'm not crazy but i still love it. Now mind you I'm not a big fan of the over arching storyline with the Royals and Adalind.
@Canadian.Scott @miketen10 On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being sucky TV, a 5 being worth your time to watch, and 10 being the greatest thing I have ever seen on television I would say the Grimm return rates between 5 and 6.
@troi Could be worse. ABC could stand for ABraxis Channel. I don't think the world's ready for that.
@Gallen_Dugall @troi dammit That will teach me not to use the reply button in the email notifications
A few things that I saw during the week that @LYT wasn't able to get up on the big site...
If you have ever seen Trekkies, you know there is a clip of James Doohan that helped stop a female from committing suicide by telling her to see him at a con. Well in that vain, Wil Wheaton recently met a fan that was her inspiration to walk following an illness. http://www.uproxx.com/tv/2013/03/the-wil-wheaton-story-that-will-make-you-sob-in-your-cheerios/
@Canadian.Scott @LYT I knew about the Wheaton thing, but I need a link for Doohan's.
@EliasAlgorithm@Canadian.Scott@LYTFeel all the feels...it is a great story.
@Canadian.Scott @EliasAlgorithm @LYT
And this is a man who stormed the beaches of Normandy, killed German snipers and let his group through Juno beach......only to get shot 6 times, by his own people, and only losing his right middle finger.............
Bill Paxton returns to sci-fi horror with The Colony...
http://www.uproxx.com/gammasquad/2013/03/in-the-colony-winter-is-more-scary-than-the-zombies/
@Canadian.Scott Thought it sounded stupid until I read "...was shot in a real decommissioned NORAD nuclear bomb shelter...". Now I need to see this. Not that I wouldn't have watched it anyway.
@Gallen_Dugall @scarfdemon Looks like he is in it for the long haul of the movie. And I agree with Fishburne, one of my all time favourite movies is Event Horizon.
@scarfdemon yes and I enjoy Laurence Fishburne, very underrated, and they'll probably kill him off pretty quick
@Canadian.Scott why can't we get the Niven/Pournelle/Flynn "Fallen Angels" instead? WHY?
@Canadian.ScottThat's the greatest food from an American fast food chain only available in Asia I've seen, since this Japanese PizzaHut pizza.

@scarfdemon I love pizza, it is the one food I could live with the rest of my life without getting tired of it and some of the things I see them do to pizza now...

@scarfdemon We kinda knew about those already. And while we publicly protest them, we all kind of want one. At least once. That's kind of why we haven't bombarded Luke about the fast food reviews demanding he stop.
A new meme for my Walking Dead friends...
http://www.uproxx.com/tv/2013/03/daryl-from-the-walking-dead-is-sneaking-up-behind-everyone/
@Canadian.Scott I post there already. They give badges for the discussion threads. I'm hesitant to post anymore because I finally got Merle and I just really like Rooker as an actor. I'm Shadowtag there.
And Youtube has NOTHING from that really good episode of Outer Limits.
@EliasAlgorithm On the Uproxx network I'm Canadian Scott. I've made it to Michonne badge. I will keep my eye out for you.
Tilda Swinton is one crazy lady...

Here is one for the Who fans out there, a prequel to this coming Saturday's new episode:
I can't wait, something new to watch on Saturday evenings again.
@Gallen_Dugall Wow, I always try to look before posting but it was down at the bottom. I had to hit the more comments button to see it, sorry. It's Sunday, my brain is not running at full power.
@EliasAlgorithm @miketen10 and if you look to the right you'll see it's also posted on the Mary Sue, and to your left the scenic Great Expanse where MVN randomly exiles comments and links, and we're moving
How to get annoying songs out of your head... without amputation. Note that I've only heard of two of the songs on that list.
@Gallen_Dugall Did that article literally tell me that if I use my brain to think of something else it would make me stop thinking about the song? Really?
@Someguy @Gallen_Dugall and it only cost the tax payers $140,000 in research grant funding... could have gotten two more IRS Trek films for that
@Gallen_Dugall This better work because I made the mistake of listening to Lady Gaga once and that image has just undone months of mental reconditioning.
Didn't even have to read the entire thing, got to the part where the sidebar says "Life On Mars". Bowie automatically improves everything and kicked Gaga right out of my skull. It wasn't even about that but it still worked.
@EliasAlgorithm I once had 70 porno music stuck in my head. It made it very hard to look at a pizza guy without falling into hysterics.
@James.k.Polk @Timely-Tardis-Lego @EliasAlgorithm Actually, yes it was. I think there was also a ukulele in there too, now that I think about it.
@Timely-Tardis-Lego @EliasAlgorithm was the tune of the "boom chicka wow wow" variety?
