Vikings?
Actually a pretty good show. The myths are presented sort of off to one side and not directly interfering with the main action so that you get the idea of magic in the setting without it becoming fantasy.
Didn't watch The Bible. I'm holding off until/unless they cover the talking donkey.

@EvilMonkeyPope I think @LYT was waiting for the shirts from Rob and then I think he was waiting on a good contest to do it. I've been suggesting we do a comment of the week contest and the prize good be a t-shirt.

History channel has The Bible and Vikings premiering tonight. The Bible is getting some surprising endorsements, while Vikings is supposed to be a Game of Thrones inspired docu-drama.

Any Canadians here going to Toronto Comic Con next week? The entire cast of The Next Generation is reuniting and will be doing an exclusive behind the scenes talk about the show and they are all scheduled to do autographs. Now I need to decide if I should get the cast to sign my Bradford Exchange Plates or my Next Generation Pez set...

I don't know if anyone cares, but Frackin ABC cancelled Zero Hour just when I was starting to get into it. I think I have learned my lesson, I'm going back to what I was doing the past year and any live action show I liked I would either DVR it for the whole season or buy the season set and just watch the whole damn thing over a weekend. Then if the idiot network cancels it I can just delete what's on the DVR or not buy the season set.
I've been burned over and over going back to great shows like Journeyman on NBC and Firefly on Fox. In the good old days the networks would at least give a show a season or two to work out the bugs and get on it's feet but damn, ABC cancelled the show after 3 episodes. With thinking like that shows like Star Trek The Next Generation would have been cancelled way before they got good.
@miketen10 OH GOD, a network channel did something stupid. Hang on I have to get my violin.

Just like everything else. Young Justice, Terminator The Sarah Conner Chronicles, The Adventures of Brisco County Jr., Spectacular Spider-Man, Tron Uprising, Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and so on...
Every time I get into a show, they cancel it. And they wonder why I cut the cord and only watch via Netflix/Internet sources now? Assholes.
@nix.nightbird Don't get me started on Cartoon Network, the Clone Wars/Green Lantern/Young Justice shows were the greatest line up since the big three networks used to air cartoons on Saturday mornings. How can they cancel Green Lantern and Young Justice when the stories were so good?

@miketen10 I wanted to watch Zero Hour and I even recorded the first couple episodes but I guess i'm a slave to the man because after I saw how trashed by critics the show was and how poor the ratings were I lost interest quick. But then again, I loved The River and ABC sure dropped that show like a sack of found footage tapes...

@Canadian.Scott @miketen10 I liked The River too, at least it got a full season. Zero Hour wasn't that bad, I can think of at least 3 shows the deserve cancellation more.

@clashctyrkr That's pretty cool. As light weight as that is they should have just paid to place it on the SpaceX flight and it would have been in orbit instead of just the upper atmosphere. But then they wouldn't have had the cool shots of Earth.
@clashctyrkr @miketen10 Yeah, but the good news is they fixed the problem and will dock with the space station on Sunday. Either way they were in orbit.
