@FabioRezende They started showing the series from the beginning here in Canada on TV so I started recording it to watch only because I want to see what the hype is coming out of the Emmy's.
I present to you a better parody than the SNL one. Particularly because its parody of Talking Dead (with special guest) is also spot-on.

Also, Todd McFarlene is the biggest wind bag in history. He rambles on and on and on about hidden meanings, etc and all I could think was, please stop talking...
Listen, I know Laurie Holden was a guest and you don't want to be rude but honestly, the question should have been asked. "What are your thoughts from fans about how Andrea is becoming a hated female character similar to Lori?" I don't buy her reasoning and I especially don't buy the fact that she "was playing the Governor from the beginning." She saw a man of power and gave him the business like she did with Shane last season. And her excuse that she did not tell the Governor about the baby is horse manure. She probably sang like a canary after that first night of pillow talk.
What was the point of the flashback at the beginning? To imply that Michonne had been abused by family members? Because frankly, that doesn't really shed light on her - she already behaves exactly like someone who's been really hurt and won't ever accept such a thing again. It'd be like if a character who tended to fly into rages and slur his words were suddenly revealed to be...an alcoholic.
@LYT I agree. I kept assuming the particular way Michonne pacified the "dogs" or something would tie in to that opening but there was nothing. It was like... "We like pretty much everyone but Andrea, but we've gotta show what's happening at the town... Lets throw in a cameo in the beginning!
@NealKristopher @LYT The opening did not make a lot of sense to me unless they decide to give Andrea the comic Michonne treatment. But with the deadline looming tomorrow I don't think this is a good time to start torturing someone. I think what will happen is the Governor will ask Tyrese and his sister to watch Andrea while they go off to meet Rick and the gang, Tyrese will think he is insane, release Andrea and the three of them will head off to the prison. The other two in Tyrese's group will probably argue and the dad will get killed and the son (who we find out did the torching) will also join the prison.
@Canadian.Scott @LYT I'm saying that if he were revealed to be one I don't think it would add any new layers or understanding to his character.
Especially considering he drank the Governor's whiskey, which was all kinds of stupid (potential for poison, impairing your reflexes in a dangerous situation, etc.)
@LYT Taking the drink was one of Rick's more bizarre decisions this season. Screaming like a weirdo at a ghost Lori is up there along with chasing her ghost into the woods.
12 comments after this episode. I guess that shows you how much people wanted an Andrea episode.
@Big.Jim.Slade slow morning generally. It's still more comments than the list, which has actual news in it.
Still trying to find the show at the library to catch up. Here is my support for all open threads.

@Someguy I've been watching on couchtuner - pain in the posterior to navigate the false links at first, but you'll get the hang of it eventually
I'm glad that Laurie Holden (on Talking Dead) explained Andrea's logic, which I already knew, but it's mighty fucked up of the writers to not write that crap in the story.
Also, anyone notice her apparent slip on Talking Dead, that there's "Governor spies"?
@Kozmik_Pariah Ok I missed Talking Dead as Finding Bigfoot felt more appropriate. So explain this Governor spy thing she dropped.
Chris Hardwick asked Laurie Holden whether or not Andrea told the Governor that Lil Ass Kicker might be Shane's daughter as opposed to Rick's. Laurie got surprisingly defensive of her character. She said something like, "Absolutely not! she'd never do that. The Governor is a sociopath. Tyrese could have told him. Or Merle, or Daryl, or Michonne, or one of the Governor's spies. I would never give him that kind of ammunition against Rick."
@dweber77 @Big.Jim.Slade Pretty sure Merle's the new Martinez, and Rick'll run him over in a truck soon lol
Emily Kinney/Beth explained the kiss already: Rick returned Maggie, her
beloved sister, alive and well, so it was just a "thank you"! :)
@Big.Jim.Slade Thanks Big Jim. Interesting, but who the hell could the spies be other than Merle? I guess we might find out in two episodes. I wonder if there is someone hanging in Woodbury that they left a long time ago? Though that seems unlikely. Maybe it's Beth that would explain her kissing Rick, she is a Judas!
She even bugs me on her appearances on Talking Dead. I guess that's a tribute to her being a really good actress, though. She pulls it off very convincingly. I did like that she explained Andrea's logic. That helped quite a bit, actually. Like she did, I really hope those scenes are released on dvd, if not onto Talking Dead at some point.
Yeah, not a big fan of Andrea, but I'm hoping all of the Andrea-ness this season will pay off soon. Maybe Andrea being tortured will spark Michonne into som badassery. Or maybe this will cause Tyrese to finally pull the trigger (metaphorically) by rescuing her which will let him join Rick's group. That's what I'm hoping at least, because I really don't like Andrea this season.
Also, there really wasn't any doubt on who torched the pit walkers, right?
@Big.Jim.Slade The fact that they made it so obvious makes me wonder if it's a false lead. It'd be a stupid false lead though.
I have a feeling there was a reason they gave her her own episode. It looks like they're taking some of the stuff that the Governor did to Michonne in the comic and transferring it to Andrea...but considering Tyreese isn't part of the group, what if they're transferring THAT to her also? Which is about as vague as I can make it while still asking the question.
I hope not, because I hate to see Andrea turned into a character who is only motivated by her romantic/sexual needs.
@nix.nightbird @Greymattersplat I think that ship sailed when she banged Shane...
To answer the hashtag...Nope...not even in the slightest. This episdoe went to further prove that Andrea is the worst. She had an opportunity again to kill the Governor and blew it. Then following her runaround the warehouse and she gets out, instead of taking the Governor's truck, she still decides to walk to the prison?!? I mean don't get me wrong but I think she probably knows how to hot wire a care at this point even without the keys.
@Canadian.Scott However, there is a very good possibility that if she had driven that truck to the prison it would've been a "shoot the hell out of the truck first, ask questions later" situation.
@aklaws41 @Canadian.Scott The prison gang have not shown to do that in the past so I would not suspect something like that this time around.
@Canadian.Scott @aklaws41 However, they know that truck was used in the last attack. Plus, their primed for war. Anything's possible.
@Kozmik_Pariah @Canadian.Scott She had plenty of time to do it...besides how do you explain the nude stabbing that could have been?
