12″ Vintage Yak Face From Gentle Giant

He’s always looked more like cigarette mascot Joe Camel (who in turn looks like a penis) than a Yak to me, but The Creature Retroactively Known As Saelt-Marae was one of the rarest vintage Kenner Star Wars figures of all, and possibly one of the few vintage figures who – even loose – still costs more to obtain than Gentle Giant’s $80 upscaled 12-inchers.
Now the Yakster is coming to Comic-Con, in packaging that reproduces the original writ large, even down to having the collector coin. Yoda’s News has the first look, complete with a video review.
Considering the genitalia-like resemblance to the smoking camel, I have to imagine that all twelve inches of this guy are gonna be desirable.
