Poster for Terry Gilliam’s The Zero Theorem Reveals the Look of the Film

I know it’s been frustrating. I posted a trailer, and it got taken down. I watched the first ten minutes of the movie, but with no new press images, I could only use my words to try and describe things.

Here, at last, is a poster, which gives you a bit more of a sense of the “crumbling vintage architecture meets loud neon happy fun time technology” visual aesthetic at work.

Gilliam promises “no zombies, no caped crusaders or alien spacecraft. Actually, I might have lied about that last item.”

Empire Online has some additional stills from the film that are worth checking out. I’m excited to see the director going back to the realm of absurdist sci-fi, which few do so well as he.

Damnedest thing is we have to wait until sometime next year to see it. At least by then I’ll have forgotten some of the details of those first minutes.

Except naked, hairless Christoph Waltz. That one’s seared into my brain.
