When Loki Sings I Hear Violence
To those of you who are groaning because I paraphrased ABC’s “When Smokey Sings” in the cheesiest possible way above, my deepest heartfelt apologies. It’s just that this video of Tom Hiddleston singing “The Bare Necessities” from The Jungle Book joined on stage by Mad Men‘s Christina Hendricks (JOANIE FOREVER) has made me downright giddy. The pair were at this past weekend’s D23 Expo to promote their upcoming movie The Pirate Fairy, for which they provide voicework. Despite the commercial underpinnings — and probable contractual obligation — of the proceedings, it’s great seeing Hiddleston and Hendricks clearly enjoying themselves. If this morning’s Daily List didn’t already convince you of the awesomeness of the D23 Expo, this video should. (Via The Mary Sue)
