980 meters underground, in Croatia, lives this see-through snail, proving that when it comes to molluscs, mother nature sometimes has a touch of glass.
I'm not a religious man, but the first thing that comes to mind when I see this is God saying, "Okay, for all you biologists who take the time and effort to come to my exclusive show, I will be making available a limited-edition clear variant of my popular character 'The Snail.' One per customer, and no scalping."
Indeed, only one living specimen has been found so far. But we got good pictures of it. And by "we" I mean humanity, because I like to claim vicarious collective credit when humanity does something cool.

And some of you scoffed when I made "Molluscs" a tag!
