Firefly Is Back…as a Comic by Joss Whedon’s Brother

Good news, everyone! Wait…wrong motley crew of spacefarers. Let’s try that again.
Good news, those of you who keep asking Joss Whedon when his canceled show will be back! His brother Zack is writing a 6-issue miniseries that functions as a sequel of sorts to Serenity, coming out Jan. 29th. In an interview with Nerdist’s Dan Casey, the other Whedon says he’s only on board for these six, but hopes someone else might continue it.
So bust out the brown coats and silly knitted hats, because haters can bite my shiny metal…ah, dammit, wrong property again. I just hope this isn’t the equivalent of a Rocky sequel starring Frank Stallone and his music.
