Fake Candy Crush Movie Trailer Gets Meta

Okay, I know this has been out a few months, and may uncomfortably remind some people of ad redirects. But damn, this postmodern spin on the notion of adapting a plotless game into a movie about the addictive nature of a game is reminding me of Spike Jonze’s Adaptation…and the acting in it is genuinely quite good compared to most.
Sadly, an actual Candy Crush movie – which I’d be money on becoming real someday – will probably just involve that ugly little girl solving the plights of stupid monsters. And whistling. Always the whistling.
Even if you’ve seen this before, it still has rewatch value. It’s like a metaphor for life or something.
