You know what the sad part of this is?
The makers of Scary Movie XVII will see it, think it's a great idea, and come up with a similar version that's much less funny, with the punchline being a fart.
This one's fun, though. Click through to see.
I like Anna Faris. That is all.
I like Anna Faris. I wonder why she is not more sucessfull.
Relevant to both the movie Gravity and gravity lensing
@Spekkio Typecast...she was put in ditsy roles like Scary Movie then embraced it in House Bunny to going against the grain voice over work so we'd forget she is ditsy blond and now she is trying to go against it with her new show Moms...and she is losing that battle.
@Spekkio shall we spin the wheel of discrimination?
Wheel of discrimination, turn turn turn, tell us for what in hell we'll burn
it says "blonde stereotypes"
for once I agree with the wheel of discrimination (which is usually just random crap) Hollywood would never cast a blonde for such a role because "dark hair = smart"
@Gallen_Dugall that guy is so right. i'm willing to suspend disbelief re: relative locations of space stations, but the whole thing with having to untether clooney? huh, wha? why?
@Canadian.Scott @Spekkio Plus it's has been repeatedly and demonstrably proven that Canadians are more interesting than any other nationality in space
@Gallen_Dugall @Spekkio But she's been non-blonde plenty of times before. Comedic ditz is what she does best. But by Hollywood standards, she's getting old for it - so she voices a younger female lead in Cloudy w/a Chance of Meatballs.
@earthmanny Doctor Who is "space fantasy" with no claims of scientific accuracy whereas Gravity bent over backwards claiming that it was scientifically accurate and yet it got almost nothing right and absolutely not basic physics
@LYT @Spekkio THOU DOST DARE QUESTION THE ALL KNOWING AND RANDOM WHEEL!?!?!?!?
