UPDATE: Thought this came from a real source - then Garret Solomon on Twitter noticed the credits are from the first movie.
Looks like another damn hoax, alas.
I don't understand the whole half a face concealing thing
seems rather self defeating
OK I'm gonna be "that guy".
I'm not impressed by this poster. They just took a picture they released a while back (I remember finding it and posting it on a weekend thread...) and blurred it a bit and added some shiny effects for the arm.
It just seems early. The comics Cap had to deal with Richard Nixon, the threat of being turned into a woman, and actually being turned into a werewolf. As much as I'd love to see it, that's probably not hitting the movies.
I think the arm looks as good as they could make it.
In the comics, Bucky died as a kid so Cap and the audience wouldn't know who he is.
In the movie it's concealing his face so when it comes off Cap and the audience who are years behind will know it's Bucky instantly since he died an adult.
@GallenDugall Maybe it's a prosthesis. His face was melted and they had to build him a Darth Vader mask and got bored and just quit halfway through.
@James.k.Polk it's a hoax. Just figured that out.
Comic Cap no longer dealt with Nixon thanks to retain. Which is why stupid Bendis' line of having Wasp say he missed the Beatles has no relevance when it should have been Marilyn Manson lol.
@TheRealDE12 That's my main thing. It's still gonna look like an arm. If you had a bionic arm would your first thought be "make it look good under a sweater". No. "How do I active the flamethrower"
@James.k.Polk @GallenDugall *Spoiler*
That's not Bucky.. it's Cobra Commander!!!
@LYT @James.k.Polk Yeah, now I feel like an ass for criticising fan art.
Should hold my tongue. Bad Polk.
Nerd news, humor and self-loathing.
