Sony just released a clearer version, which shows, yes, Megazord Rhino and Dane DeHaan Goblin. (Click to enlarge) Honestly, did anyone really think Chris Cooper was going to be jumping around on a flying glider?

So now it’s out there as official publicity material, we must wonder – is it smart to give all that up at once? Is this a response to the backlash over J.J. Abrams and Secret Khan, going in the absolute opposite direction? And will people be upset with me for “spoiling” an image that’s going to be in theater lobbies nationwide probably as soon as you read this?

Speaking of spoilers, Marc Webb gives up what is basically another one in USA Today, though it isn’t one that’ll surprise savvy comic readers…

And while Parker promised to keep Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) out of his masked lifestyle, he’s also “madly, crazily in love with her,” says the director. “She plays a crucial, terrifyingly pivotal role in the film.”

With the Green Goblin around, albeit a different one than we’re used to, I think we all know what that means.
