Matthew McConaughey in space. Alllllllllright!
Thanks, Christopher, for making me post on a weekend.
But if Matthew is in space, is he wearing a shirt?
I'm going to go with trusting Nolan on this one. He was right about Ledger and he insisted Man of Murder not end in well murder.
My god, its full of McConaughey...
Reminds me *a lot* of his electric company commercials.
This comes just at the same time as our triumphant landing on the moon... and by "our" I mean China's
wormholes don't generally get bigger than a few particles in width
Reminds me of the opening credits for Enterprise, and that is not a compliment. I get that it's a teaser trailer, and it should make me want to see more, to whet my appetite for this movie, it does nothing.
Looks like it could be a good movie. Here is what I think is a cool clip of Ian McKellen surprising a audience at a midnight showing of the latest Hobbit movie.
uhm ... is it a documentary or a movie?
@FakeAssName much as we might like to document Matthew McConaughey being launched off the planet, I'm pretty sure it didn't really happen.
@FakeAssNameor a plea from NASA for more money?
Yeah, but, what is the plot of this thing going to be?
for all the stock footage and somber monologue I expected the end of the trailer to cut to a message about "coming soon to a Natural History Muesuem near you."
ok, pulled this off of IMBD: A group of explorers make use of a newly discovered wormhole to surpass
the limitations on human space travel and conquer the vast distances
involved in an interstellar voyage.
at what point does that teaser remotely talk about wormholes?
What LYT you don't love some Diane Warren written power pop? Honestly it's worse than the lyrics that Gene wrote for the original series to get that sweet co-writing royalty.
Always wished that directors cut worked out.
@Canadian.Scott I liked Event Horizon, I need to watch it again.
It's not worth unless this turns out to be a prequel to Event Horizon.
@LYT @FakeAssName You came to the same conclusion I did, beating me by a hour. Teaches me not to scroll down first.
I was thinking the exact same thing.
@FakeAssName It's basically the opening credits of "Enterprise" without that terrible song.
