It's the year of the horse, which here at TR means...
If you want to skip the Superbowl, rest assured, Monday's Daily List will highlight the best and nerdiest of the commercials. Also, be sure to enter the Jack in the Box art contest, linked at the top of the site.
Until then, here are a few stories I wasn't able to get to this week...
-Bryan Singer confirms that X-Men: Apocalypse will feature the First Class actors and NOT the "present-day" cast, and Apocalypse will not be an alien. Now, if he could just confirm that Apocalypse won't look like a douche, we'd be in business.
-Nintendo has some vague future plans, including licensing out their in-house characters a little more. Mario-brand microwave mushroom pizza, anyone?
-Tauntaun rocking chairs. That is all.
-RIP Arthur Rankin Jr., of Rankin-Bass fame.
-The uncensored final speech from South Park's episode 201 metaphorically brings the mountain to Mohammed.
-Jack in the Box is adding bacon and nacho cheese to their already deep-fried tacos.
-A porn star offered to give a blow job for Lego models. Lego was displeased.
-"Wearable books" want to give you panic attacks. Hardly necessary - just read any book that deals with what's really in your food.
-AAAAAAAAALVIN! Bad enough that there were Chipmunks movies...they've now inspired Disney to do a live-action/CGI Chip 'n Dale.
-A virtual reality game that lets you play as a guy playing a virtual reality game.
Tipsters for these included SlyDante777, Gallen_Dugall and Dr.Gonzo82...apologies to any others I may not be remembering. This just covers all the tabs open in my browser.
