The champ is…weird. For a guy known by most adult fans for being boring and predictable in the ring, WWE’s John Cena has finally done something unexpected. He’s going to be in a Judd Apatow comedy starring Amy Schumer.
Talk about an attitude adjustment. Cena’s primary appeal is to kids – Schumer and Apatow’s primary appeal is to folks who like dirty jokes, i.e. the exact people who chant “Cena Sucks!” at every show. If he turns out to be the villain, this is brilliant.
On an unrelated topic, where the fuck is that Pee-wee Herman movie Apatow promised us a couple years ago?
