Yes, because every hit movie is exactly the same, Gareth Edwards has now been signed to do the first Star Wars spinoff movie, set for release in December of 2016. There is no confirmation yet as far as which spinoff – rumors to date suggest that Han Solo, Boba Fett and Yoda are the most likely characters for such treatment.
But whichever character he gets, Edwards’ track record would indicate that we’ll hardly ever see them onscreen. And honestly, that’s the only way I’d want a Yoda movie.
