Probably the best marketing materials they've put out there so far.
Check out those Turtle boys below...
i would love it if a full length movie was done in this style
I'm sure the idea to sew a million machetes to Shredder's arm will look great, but t doesn't lend itself well to this style.
those faces. those fucking faces are just so awful.
Had these come out before the full reveal of the Turtles and the trailer, I suspect people would be more excited. Boy, their marketing really appears to be ass-backwards.
...so, Donny's a Ghostbuster, right? How else would you explain the goggles and shitty proton pack knockoff he's wearing?
Cool looking, but it's made less so by the shitty designs.
Shredder's definitely looks like a crappy early design for that awesome Silver Samurai mech poster from The Wolverine.
I don't think they'll have to worry about people stealing these out of the displays, at least.
I'd think they were going for the original black and white comic look, but then I remember that this is a Michael Bay project and they couldn't be that clever.
These just look cheap.
It looked like Donnie had hair at first glance. Other than that, the posters seem cool enough, but Shredder's looks the coolest.
SHREDDER yes ....
the rest are just ok
@cliff.roswell I thought that looked like hair at first and was really confused
i see what you did there XD
@EvilMonkeyPope now that you mention it I think they were supposed to look like spray paint graffiti... but yeah - the paint drips alone don't pull it off
@BumblebeeZ3 cool armor is cool
@jaganar yeah those are a serious design flaw from the ground up, they're the wrong hieght and weight distribution because they insisted on mapping the actor's bodies, the faces are wrong because they insist on mapping over the actor's facial expressions, the skin is wrong because it looks like frog skin the color of Mountain Dew instead of turtle scales, the hands look like gloves because... they are gloves, and the shells look like backpacks because... THEY'RE BACKPACKS.
that no one on the design team noticed that shells should cover the body not just sit on the back of it like it is strapped on shows how few shits were given about this product
@Gallen_Dugall @EvilMonkeyPope Oh god, realizing they are supposed to be paint drips makes it even worse.
@Gallen_Dugall @EvilMonkeyPope I didn't even notice the paint drips until you mentioned them.
@Gallen_Dugall @BumblebeeZ3 I like stuff that's cool. But I don't like stuff that sucks.
@LYT that's a bold and somewhat maverick assertion
