It’s Official: Michelle MacLaren Will Direct Wonder Woman Movie

MacLaren, who has been rumored to be attached for a while, has directed episodes of Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, The X-Files and Breaking Bad among others, and was an executive producer on the latter two shows. This will be her first theatrical feature.
Hey, the Russo brothers worked out well and they came from TV. If the goal is a shared universe, TV directors have a heads-up on that.
(I also just made a typo where I wrote “sharted universe.” In the case of WB/DC, I fear that may be an honest Freudian slip. Still, no reason to dislike this choice.)
