Cliff Curtis Will Star in The Walking Dead Spinoff, Ensuring That I Watch It

Curtis, who has been in movies that are great (Three Kings, Training Day), terrible (The Last Airbender, 10,000 BC) and divisive (Sunshine, The Majestic) is nearly always one of the best things about any given project.
His casting also helps us to get no clear idea whatsoever where the “different location” of the series will be. Curtis is Maori, from New Zealand, yet he frequently plays Latinos, Middle-Easterners, and just plain color-blind cast roles. I’ve never seen him play a Southerner, however, though that’s not to say he couldn’t.
I look forward to seeing him miniaturized and standing on Todd McFarlane’s nipples.
