SDCC 2015: New Batman V Superman Trailer

The big Warner Brothers panel just wrapped up in Hall H, and they broke some big news, brought out some special guests, and showed off a brand new, long trailer. We’ve got a report from our man on the scene, Bryce Abood, and the footage after the break.

The panel started out with footage from Man from U.N.C.L.E., but :makes jerking off gesture, raspberries with mouth: Then they jumped into the surprises.

They played a hype video with pictures of all the characters getting movies and the names of the films themselves. Not much was shown that hadn’t already been announced, except for the fact that it won’t be a Green Lantern movie, it will be Green Lantern Corps. Then they brought out David Ayer and the cast of Suicide Squad to talk a little about their movie and showed a trailer, which we’ll have as soon as it’s available. According to Bryce, “this looks better than Batman v Superman .” It sounds like Leto’s very good as the Joker, and Robbie nails Harley Quinn.”

Then they moved on to Batman V Superman, showing the new footage and bringing out the cast – Holly Hunter, Amy Adams, Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot. They did confirm that Hunter is playing a character original to the movies written specifically for her. Now let’s take a look at that footage.
